WHERE GIRLS ROCK! LITERALLY. We are a summer camp where girls are never told to be quiet, only louder! MISSION Girls' Rock Camp-ATHENS operates as a non-profit organization (seeking 501(c)(3)status) whose mission is to build female youth empowerment through music education and creation. By providing the girls with a safe place to express themselves we are aiding the girls in their development as freethinking individuals. We are run completely by dedicated volunteers who serve as a positive community of female mentors.50 WOMEN/50 DOLLARS Be one of the 50 Women (or groups of women) to donate $50 dollars towards full scholarships for 8 campers! Our overall goal is to raise $2,500. All donations can be tax deductible upon request. Sign up and find out more by emailing calley@girlsrockathens.org2010 Camp Girls' Rock Camp-ATHENS 2010 will take place at Pigpen Studios from July 26th-30th, 9am-5pm with the showcase on Saturday, July 31st at the 40 Watt starting at 6pm (doors open at 5:30pm). Camper tuition is $300. Space is limited it's a first come, first serve basis. Once all the slots are filled registration will close.
